• Utilize Azure App Services as the primary infrastructure for software development.

• Address network cross-domain coding, access, and troubleshooting for Cloud/Azure and On-premises Oracle Database infrastructure.
• Contribute to product backlog refinement, story development, and sizing/estimating.
• Code front-end user interface of the Office Module using .NET Core/(ASP.NET) on Azure App Services.
• Integrate ArcGIS Portal data with the Office Module using ArcGIS JavaScript API.
• Deploy approved code to the production system and ensure ESRI Field Maps data integration.
• Contribute to UI design discussions and code solutions, adding comments for design intent.
• Perform knowledge sharing with embedded MNIT/MnDOT staff and develop technical architecture documentation.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of experience as a .NET Core/(ASP.NET) developer.
• Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months as a .NET Core/(ASP.NET) developer.
• One (1) year of experience with ArcGIS JavaScript API.
• Experience with Oracle database integration.
• Proficiency in Azure App Services architecture development.
• Familiarity with developing in a cross-domain environment.
• Experience in UI design and optimization.
• Active participation in Agile development teams.
• Knowledge of spatial/mapping components related to geodetic monumentation.

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience with Oracle 19.c.
• Business expertise related to Geodetics Database systems.

  Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Big Data solutions with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Utilize Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, ensuring efficient and reliable data processing.
• Implement data streaming and batch processing applications using Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.
• Leverage 9 years of experience in Big Data technologies to optimize data pipelines for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with the data science team to integrate analytics solutions and support data-driven decision-making.
• Work in coordination with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance and expand the Big Data architecture.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Nine (9) years of experience as a Big Data Engineer with a strong focus on GCP.
• Proven expertise in Apache Airflow, Kafka, and Spark for designing and implementing data processing workflows.
• Extensive experience in both batch and streaming data applications.
• Background in the telecom industry is preferred, with a deep understanding of telecom data structures and processes.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data science and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience working with telecom data analytics projects.
• Knowledge of best practices for handling large-scale data in a telecom environment.
• Familiarity with other relevant Big Data technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Elicit requirements through various methods, including interviews, document analysis, workshops, and site visits.
• Write clear and concise requirements specifications using standard templates, representing requirements using alternative views when necessary.
• Decompose high-level business and user requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Identify current- and future-state business processes, and define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and nonfunctional requirements.
• Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring completeness, consistency, and traceability.
• Participate in requirements prioritization and facilitate negotiation among multiple stakeholders.
• Analyze and document business requirements and data throughout the project life cycle.
• Translate business requirements into System/Functional specifications for Application Developers.
• Coordinate Business Validation to ensure end-to-end business processes function as intended.
• Work with product managers to document the product’s vision and project scope.
• Participate in peer reviews of requirements documents and associated work products.
• Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
• Manage changes to baselined requirements through effective change control processes.
• Identify opportunities to assist product management in product planning through requirements development and analysis.
• Propose new product features and updates.
• Provide knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Master’s degree substitutes for three years of experience, Bachelor’s degree substitutes for two years, or Associate’s degree substitutes for one year.
• Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in a Business Analyst role.
• Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in a Project Manager role.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Previous lead Business Analyst experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Services.
• Business Analyst Certification (IIBA certification or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and support throughout program/project development.
• Clear communication of program/project plans, expectations, updates, progress, issues, and successes in a timely fashion.
